We wrapped up a precision inspection on a residential ground mount solar system in New Canaan, CT - part of an inverter replacement project for one of our customers. Ground mount systems like this one are built to last, but that doesn't mean they're maintenance-free. When an inverter fails or needs to be swapped out, every panel in the array has to be carefully evaluated before anything gets touched.

Here's what most homeowners don't think about: an inverter replacement isn't just a swap-and-go job. It touches your panel connections, your system's output configuration, and in many cases your utility interconnection agreement. If the contractor doing the work isn't qualified, you can void your solar panel warranty without even knowing it. That's a real risk, and it's one we take seriously on every single job.

The array here is a solid installation - two rows of panels mounted low to the ground on a concrete ballasted racking system. Doing a thorough inspection before the inverter work means we know exactly what we're working with. Panel condition, wiring integrity, mounting hardware - all of it gets checked. That's the only way to do this kind of work right.

We serve residential and commercial customers across Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the greater Northeast. Solar detach and reset, inverter servicing, system diagnostics, performance restoration - if your system needs attention, we're the crew qualified to handle it without cutting corners on the warranties and agreements that protect your investment.

Getting an unqualified contractor on a job like this is a short-term decision with long-term consequences. We've seen it. The work looks fine on the surface, but the paperwork and warranties underneath tell a different story. That's exactly why qualification and process matter as much as the physical work itself.
