We were out in Stamford, CT recently working on a client whose solar system had quietly stopped performing the way it should. The culprit - a pair of inverters that had given out. Most homeowners don't realize there's a problem until they check their monitoring app or get a surprisingly high electric bill. By then, the system has already been underperforming for who knows how long.

The inverter is the brain of the whole operation. Panels collect the sun's energy, but the inverter is what converts that into usable electricity for your home. When it fails, you're essentially just sitting on a roof full of panels that aren't doing much. Two new units went in, the system came back online, and this client is back to generating the way they paid to generate.

We get asked a lot about what we actually do, so here's the honest answer: we are a full solar service company. No new installs. Just expert care for systems that are already out there. That includes inverter replacement and diagnostics, panel removal and reinstall for roof work, panel cleaning, critter guard installation, system troubleshooting, and commercial solar decommissioning and recycling. Residential, commercial, rooftop, ground mount - we handle it all.

Our service area covers Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and New Jersey. If your system is on a roof or in a field somewhere across the Northeast, we can get to it. A lot of our clients come to us because the company that installed their system is no longer around, or simply doesn't offer ongoing service. That's exactly the gap we fill.

If your output has been off, your monitoring is showing errors, or you just haven't had anyone look at your system in a while, it's worth a conversation. These systems are built to last - but they still need attention when something goes wrong.
