Solar Panel Removal and Reinstall for Cheshire CT Roof Replacement

If you have solar panels and you need a new roof, here's something a lot of homeowners don't think about until the last minute - your panels have to come off first. That's not something your roofing contractor handles. You need a solar specialist to do it right, and that's exactly where we come in.

At SunQuest Solar, we specialize in servicing existing solar systems. We're not a new installation company. Our focus is repairs, maintenance, and the kind of work that keeps your current system running the way it should - including solar panel removal and reinstall (R&R) when your roof needs to be replaced. The panels come off cleanly, the roofers do their work, and we put everything back where it belongs.

Beyond R&R, we also handle inverter replacement, full system diagnostics, and critter guard installation. That last one matters more than people realize - birds and squirrels love nesting under solar panels, and the damage they cause can quietly eat into your system's output over time.

For commercial property owners, we go further. We provide solar operations and maintenance (O&M), commercial diagnostics, end-of-life decommissioning, and responsible solar panel recycling. Whether you're managing a small array or a large commercial system, we have the expertise to keep it performing and handle it responsibly when it's time to retire.

If you're a Cheshire homeowner with a roof replacement on the horizon, don't wait until the last minute to figure out what to do with your panels. We've handled jobs across Connecticut and we know exactly how to coordinate this process so nothing gets held up and your system comes back online without a hitch.
